Fair Trade Certified: Patagonia Partners With Fair Trade USA

From Fair Trade coffee to Fair Trade apparel, Active Junky appreciates companies that put effort in to ensuring fair wages and safe conditions for their workers. Patagonia is one such company, partnering with Fair Trade USA. The company has made enormous steps toward moving their manufacturing to Fair Trade Certified factories—the goal being one-third of production by 2017. Through Fair Trade USA, Patagonia also pays a premium of its sales back to factory workers, either as a bonus or toward social projects to stimulate the local community.
